Employee engagement is the standard for determining the ‘best’ employers. In this study, feedback is received directly from employees about their workplace and their work experience. The study is conducted with the assistance of Aon Hewitt, the global human resource consulting and outsourcing business of Aon Corporation.

According to Aon Hewitt’s definition, employees are engaged when they “say, stay and strive.”

Engaged employees speak positively about the organization to others, are committed to remaining with their current employer, and are motivated by their organization’s leaders, managers, culture and values to go “above and beyond” to contribute to business success.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have made this year’s list of 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada,” said Marc Boudreau, co-CEO of BESTECH. “We are committed to making BESTECH a great place to work for our valued employees and the survey results definitely indicate that we are succeeding.
